Indiana Jones and the Residence Inn of Doom

I travel a lot for work so it’s safe to say that I know my way around a hotel.  I titled this writing after my recent trip stay at the Residence Inn in Indianapolis, Indiana.  If you enjoy the kinds of adventures that Harrison Ford portrays in the Indiana Jones films, I highly recommend a stay at the aforementioned hotel.

How to Install The Plazer on Windows Vista x64

After having nearly completely given up hope on ever using the Plazer again, I have discovered a way to make the geo-location application work on my Windows Vista x64 laptop.  If you read my previous post, you know that I had tried to go the route of the Plazer forums to see if there were any known workarounds.  At one point I believe a member of the Plazes Crew even chimed in and said it would require re-coding a significant portion of the .NET application.  Nonsense!

Goodbye Plazes (For Now)

I have been a loyal user of Plazes or more specifically, the Plazer for almost two years.  During this time I have been Plazed over 1,000 times in over 100 Plazes, representing nearly 50 different cities.  Its really pretty cool to look back at my world map and see all of the different places I’ve tagged.

Seeing 2’s in HD

I finally broke down and upgraded to HD today, I already had the TV but I needed to get the HD receiver from my ‘favorite’ cable company… TimeWarner Cable.  The setup was very easy as I have a good bit of experience with setting up multimedia components for other people.
